Seesawing temperatures for Chicago area through the weekend

CHICAGO (CBS)—Following chilly low temperatures near 40 degrees in the suburbs early Wednesday, southwest winds are blowing into the Chicago area, warming temperatures.
Overnight lows will not be as cold Thursday morning, and daytime highs on Thursday surge to 80 degrees away from Lake Michigan.
After that, two cold fronts are expected to move in — one early Friday and the next early Sunday — but both bring only a few quick sprinkles to the Chicago area. Breezy winds and cooler temperatures, however, are expected Friday and Sunday.
The weekend will be beautiful and dry. Great for outdoor fall activities. Highs of 80 on Saturday, cooler on Sunday in the 70s. Both days will be fairly breezy, especially on Sunday. This could lead to a big day for fire weather due to the dry conditions. There are no meaningful rain opportunities on the horizon either. Mainly dry weather is expected through at least late next week.
The forecast for the Chicago Bears home game Sunday looks pleasant with a high of 72 degrees.
A chilly start, sunny and breezy with a high of 72
Mostly clear. Not as brisk, with a low of 53
Partly cloudy, warmer with a high of 78.
Morning clouds and a few sprinkles, then windy, cooler sunshine, and a high of 70
